As a CSA member, you agree to share in the farm’s seasonal risks and rewards, make timely payments, pick up shares during designated times, and stay informed through farm communications. In return, SaJe Family Farm commits to providing fresh, seasonal produce, maintaining transparent communication, and practicing sustainable farming methods.

At SaJe Family Farm, we grow a large variety of fresh, seasonal produce. Here’s what you can expect during each growing season:

Spring Crops:

  • Lettuce
  • Kale, Spinach
  • Bunching Onions
  • Garlic Scapes
  • Garlic
  • Peas
  • Strawberries
 Summer Crops:

  • Tomatoes (including cherry tomatoes)
  • Cucumbers, Zucchini, Various Squashes
  • Beets, Carrots, Sweet Corn, Green Beans
  • Peppers (hot and sweet)
  • Watermelon, Cantaloupe, Honeydew
  • Blackberries, Raspberries, Blueberries
  • Herbs, Eggplant, Microgreens
 Fall Crops:

  • Brussels Sprouts
  • Broccoli, Cauliflower
  • Cabbage
  • Turnips, Parsnips
  • Sweet Potatoes
  • Potatoes
  • Pumpkins

Half Share: Designed for 1-2 people. This includes smaller portions of produce each week.

Full Share: Best for 3-5 people. These boxes contain a little over double the amount of a half share.

During peak production, we aim to include 7-10 types of items in your CSA box each week. For example, one “item” might be:

  • A pint of blackberries
  • A quart of tomatoes
  • Fresh sweet corn

The size of each item will vary depending on your share type (half or full).

Yes, in the early season, boxes may contain fewer items as the growing season ramps up. However, during peak season, we will make up for this by adding extra produce to ensure you get full value from your CSA share.
