4 ripe but firm plums

1–2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp honey (or maple syrup)

Small pinch of salt

Fresh herbs for garnish (mint, basil, or thyme work beautifully)
Instructions

Prep the plums – Slice each plum in half and remove the pit. Brush the cut sides lightly with olive oil.

Heat the grill – Preheat to medium-high. Make sure the grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.

Grill – Place plums cut-side down on the grill for 3–4 minutes, until they have nice grill marks and are slightly softened.

Flip & drizzle – Turn plums over and drizzle with honey. Grill another 2–3 minutes until warmed through.

Serve – Sprinkle lightly with salt, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve warm.
Serving ideas: Perfect on their own, with yogurt for breakfast, or alongside grilled chicken or pork for a sweet-savory touch.
